Cancellation policy

Tours cancelled less than 48 hours before the arrival of the traveller and no- showswill be charged with 30% of the total booking value and the other 20% will be immediately reversed to the travellers' paypal or bank account.

Situated 14 km from Santa Marta, at the beginning of Sierra Nevada, this beautiful and picturesque coffee making town offers a perfect climate with temperatures between 17 and 24 degrees.

With its River Minca of crystal waters and its immense vegetation, which holds just below the surface the archaeological richness of its ancestors, the "Arhuacos", Minca is an ecological paradise. Pozo Azul (blue fountain), the River Minca, the coffee plantations, San Lorenzo, Sierra Nevada and the flower cultivations are all the main attractive destinations of the region.

Itinerary

  • Transportation from Santa Marta to Minca, wher you will experience a sudden climate and vegetation change.
  • Visit to Minca: there, you will get to know the picturesque town of Minca, where you can buy organic coffee and have lunch. There are several recommended restaurants offering delicious local and international menus from 4 to 12 USD per person.
  • Then, you can choose between an excursion to the waterfalls ¨Cascadas¨, or to the blue fountains ¨Pozos Azules¨to take a refreshing bath in the waters of the Sierra Nevada.
  • And at the end we will visit the exotic flower cultivations and if you are lucky, you will also see some exotic birds like the kolibris...
  • Then we go back to Santa Marta and let you in your hotel.


Participant guidelines

  • As the climate changes from hot to temperate, you should take a sweater and long trousers with you, as well as insect repellent.
  • Don't forget your suim suit to be able to enjoy the refreshing waters of the Sierra Nevada.
  • And of course a camera is obligatory, to take great shots of the highest coastal mountain in the world- the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta!
