Ecohabs Tayrona Park
The ecohabs are located at the beach of Cañaveral in the Tayrona National Park (Parque Tayrona), amidst a beautiful tropical vegetation, and with an incomparable panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea and the park area.
The beach of Cañaveral is the first entrance to the Tayrona Park and it is adjacent to the beaches of Arrecifes, from where you can explore the other beaches of the park like la Piscina, Cabo San Juan del Guía and the so called Nudist beach.

There are several ways to get to the ecohabs of the Tayrona Park in Santa Marta:
Getting there (local language)
- From the airport of Santa Marta, the easiest way is to get a taxi, which takes you directly to the beach of Cañaveral and lets you in front of the ecohabs. The public price is 80'000 pesos (40 USD) per way and we can send you the taxi driver of our agency for the same price
- From the bus station of Santa Marta, you can get a taxi directly to the ecohabs for 60'000 pesos (30 USD) and our taxi driver would be pleased to pick you up. But you can also take a public taxi to the market place of Santa Marta for 4000 pesos (2 USD), where the busses to the Tayrona Park leave, and they cost only 5000 pesos per person. Nevertheless, this is only an option when you speak some Spanish, because you need to indicate the bus driver to let you at the entrance of Cañaveral. Another disadvantage of the public busses is that they only leave Santa Marta when they are quite full, what can take some time, and then you have to walk from the road to the ecohabs with your luggage

Hay varias maneras para llegar a los ecohabs del parque Tayrona de Santa Marta:
- Desde el aeropuerto de Santa Marta, la manera más fácil para llegar es en taxi, que los lleva directamente a la playa de Cañaveral y los deja en frente de los ecohabs. El precio público es de 80'000 pesos, y con mucho gusto les mandamos el taxista de nuestra agencia por el mismo precio.
- Desde la terminal de autobuses de Santa Marta, un taxi puede llevarlos por 60'000 pesos directamente a los ecohabs y nuestro taxista estaría encantado para recogerlos allá. Pero también puede tomar un taxi público hasta el mercado público de Santa Marta, donde salen los autubuses para el parque Tayrona, que valen sólo 5000 pesos por persona. La desventaja es que los buses sólo salen cuando estén bastante llenos, lo que puede demorar un poco, y después tendrían que caminar desde la carretera de la entrada de Cañaveral hasta los ecohabs con todo su equipaje.
