A long time ago, this beach, like many of the park, was inhabited by indigenous communities belonging to the Tayrona. Playa Cinto is considered the most important from the archaeological point of view, since remains have been found with seniority dating from about 2000 BC. Nowadays the bay is still considered a sacred place and place of payment by the descendants of the Tayrona groups, especially for Koguis.
As there aren`t any restaurants nearby, we recommend you to make a stop in a supermarket before your travel to Playa Cinto. We recommend you to buy at least drinkable water, ice cubes, and the alimentation and beverages you will need during your stay.
The cook and concierge Olga is a kind local woman and she will help you in everything you need during your stay, and you can also enjoy her cook and household services.
