Cancellation policy

Tours cancelled less than 48 hours before the arrival of the traveller and no- showswill be charged with 30% of the total booking value and the other 20% will be immediately reversed to the travellers' paypal or bank account.

Trek Chengue Beach Tayrona Park

At Chengue Bay, you can enjoy one of the most ecological important sites in the Colombian Caribbean waters. There are white sandy beaches, beautiful coral reefs ideal for snorkelling, a salt lagoon and a beautiful swamp full of birds. Upon entering the nature reserve, there is a road that ascends into a tropical forest landscape until the beginning of the trail. The first half hour is uphill through the forest with the amazing sound of birds singing. The next hour is downhill along a beautiful creek that flows into the marsh from the beach.

Itinerary

  • Departure at 8 am by a public bus to the Tayrona Park to initiate the trek
  • Hike 1.5 hours from the beach, activities, lunch and beach.
  • On the way back, we will collect the group and go by bus back to Santa Marta.

  • Recommendations: Small backpack, trekking shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, swimsuit, towel and camera.
  • Tips: Eat a large breakfast and potentially take some energy bars or a sports drink for the journey.
