The cabanas of Arrecifes belong to AVIATUR's concession Tayrona. There are 6 cabanas in 3 semi- detached buildings, a few metres from the beautiful beach of Arrecifes, which is the first beach of the Tayrona Park after the entrance in Cañaveral, where the luxurious ecohabs with Sea view are located. Like the beach of Cañaveral, in Arrecifes you find a wild Caribbean Sea with submarine streams, so it is not allowed to swim there. But you can easily get to the other beaches by a walk or by horse.

Activities
- From your cabin at the beach of Arrecifes, you can easily walk in 1 hour to the beach of la Piscina, and in 2 hours to Cabo San Juan del Guia. Or you can hire a horse for a roundtrip. And you can also visit Pueblito, which is an important archeological place which belongs to the descandants ofthe Tayronas, who have given their name to this area. You can visit Pueblito or „Chairama“ perfectly on your own, but it may be more interesting with a bilingual guide who knows everything about the area and you can arrange this service previously with us.

Recommendations
- Check- in time is until the latest at 4 p.m., because if you stay at the cabanas of Arrecifes, you have to walk 40 minutes or go by horse in 20 minutes and you cannot do this at night.
- The yellow fiever vacunation is obligatory, but you are not asked for it and there have been no cases in that area in these years.
- Take light cotton clothes with you, sun screen, sneakers, a hat, insect repellent and beach towels.
- If you are travelling with children, please take care of them because Arrecifes is not a swimming beach and the waters there are dangerous.
- If you practise marine sports, please take care of the coral reeves and try not to touch them because a coral only grows a centimetre per year..
- Please preserve the forest and the savage animals.
- Inspiteof the ultra sound against the mosquitos, it is recommended to close the cabanas after 6 p.m.
- If you cancel your booking after the deadline, which is at least 15 days before your check- in, the hotel will charge the first night
